Over the past few years Nokia has become synonymous with Windows Phone smartphones, it is Microsoft’s largest WP OEM that has played a major part in driving growth for Redmond’s mobile operating system. The company’s devices and services division is now set to be acquired by Microsoft for $7.17 billion, though that deal hasn’t been closed just yet. As it continues to function independently for now, there have been many rumors recently about Nokia launching an Android phone. When asked how Microsoft felt about that, Windows Phone VP Joe Belfiore said “Some things we’re excited about, some things we’re less excited about.”
