Microsoft Reportedly Bought Augmented Reality IP For $100 $150 MillionThere have been talks that Microsoft could be looking to introduce a virtual reality headset of their own and with Facebook acquiring Oculus Rift and Sony unveiling Project Morpheus, we can only imagine that Microsoft does not want to be left out of the game.

Now according to a recent report from TechCrunch, they are claiming that Microsoft might have purchased augmented reality-related intellectual property from a wearable tech company called Osterhout Design Group. The purchase is said to be valued at around $100-$150 million. (more…)
