Two things an iPhone case should do well are protect your device and look good doing it. Now we can add a third function: Charging your device.

The new Power Skin case from MiLi doubles the battery life of your iPhone, according to the company. It incorporates a 1,200-mAH lithium polymer battery right in its very thin shell, which also allows access to ports and jacks. The mini USB /USB plugs into the case while it’s on your iPhone and
charges both, so you don’t have to remove it for syncing or charging.

Also announced today is the PocketPal (on the far right in the image above), a tiny, portable USB charger with a fold-in AC plug.

The glossy Power Skin case comes in eight different two-color combinations (using black, white, blue, green, orange, and silver), and the PocketPal in five combinations. The MiLi Power Skin is listed at $69.95, and the PocketPal at $19.95. The two accessories can be also purchased together, for $79.95.
