While on a date with the first man she’d given a chance since the death of her husband, Paul, on “Mistresses,” April had a vision. She saw her dead husband standing across the street — at least until a bus drove past. Ultimately, she decided that maybe it was a sign that it was time to move on and finally close that chapter of her life.

But that’s not what it meant at all. Because it wasn’t a vision.

At the end of the episode, she sent her daughter off to school. Then, there was a knock at the door. Thinking it was her daughter again, she opened it and was stunned to see her husband standing there, alive and well.
