When you get a call, just pickup the handset and answer it. The handset is cordless and supports MultiPoint Bluetooth, meaning you can pair it with your iPhone as well as your laptop, and if you get a Skype call, for example, you can pick it up and use it with your laptop without having to re-pair it with your iPhone.
