Music shower meals at luxury Burger King

Burger King opened its 32nd branch in Japan today inside Roppongi’s Rapiros building, reports Walkerplus.

We’ve previously blogged about the fast food chain trend currently happening in Japan that sees foreign restaurants turning their branches into luxury spaces. Also intriguing is the “musical shower” you can take by holding an iPod or music player in certain “sound spots” booths. These are apparently boxes containing two seats where the music can be channeled out of an umbrella-style speaker hanging above diners’ heads.

Burger King famously withdrew from the Japanese market following a price war and only returned relatively recently. After Wendy’s demise six months ago, the remaining American fast food chains are all working hard to attract customers.
