NEC has just added a new desktop monitor to its product page, the AccuSync AS193i. Adopting an IPS panel, this new 19-inch LED-backlit monitor provides 1280 x 1024 native resolution with 5:4 aspect ratio, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 250 cd/m2 brightness, 14ms response time and 178/178 degree viewing angles. It also has two built-in 1W speakers and features DVI-D and D-Sub connectors. The AccuSync AS193i will go on sale this month for $179. [NEC]
