Look out, San Franciscans! It seems like you will most likely play host yet again to another new flagship Apple Store, as the San Francisco Board of Supervisors have already given the green light for Apple to begin construction on this new flagship store that will be located in the city’s Union Square district. Union Square is famous for being a high-traffic tourist area in downtown San Francisco, where it will be designed by Foster + Partners, which is the very same UK-based architecture firm that came up with Apple’s new spaceship-like headquarters design in Cupertino that is touted to open its doors in a couple of years’ time. Hence, the new location would more or less make this a flagship store for Apple, considering how close it is (relatively speaking, of course) to Apple’s corporate home in Silicon Valley.
