Someone over at Microsoft must love Gizmodo–even if everyone else at the company hates the tech blog now. Gizmodo managed to snag yet another bit of top-secret insight into Microsoft’s still unannounced tablet, the Courier.
The first sightings of the device popped up on the Gawker-run gadget site a week ago, launching a debate about just how final this product is. A number of sites reported that the dual-screen mockup was just one of many prototype designs of the device. Microsoft, of course, refused to comment.
Now the site is shining even more light on the Courier, with a new extended animated video exploring the device in more detail. The animation shows an incredibly smooth Surface-like interface, featuring page turns and Web browsing. (Hang on, was that Google I spotted? Surely any Courier user worth his or her weight in e-books would be running Bing.)
The jury is still out on the validity of the tablet, but either way, I really want one.
