Niklas Kronwall Hit From Behind By Cody McLeod, Suffers Concussion And Taken Off On Stretcher (VIDEO)
Posted in: Today's ChiliDetroit Red Wings defenseman Niklas Kronwall was removed from the ice on a stretcher after Colorado Avalanche forward Cody McLeod slammed him into the boards on Thursday night. With the Red Wings and Avalanche scoreless in the first period in Denver, Kronwall chased a puck in the corner only to be rammed from behind by McLeod, who appeared to leave the ice to deliver the crushing hit.
Kronwall goes down hard after a dirty hit to the head by McLeod. Kronwall leaves the ice on a stretcher. More info will come. Hope he’s ok.
