No Motorola Android Phone for Verizon (Today)
Posted in: Android, motorola, t-mobile, Today's Chili, verizonThe promise of two new Android handsets from Motorola wasn’t quite fulfilled during today’s GigaOm Mobilize 09 conference. The handset manufacturer’s CEO Sanjay Jha happy showed off the new Cliq for T-Mobile, the handset previously known as Morrison.
Jha also promised a second phone debuting in “the coming weeks.” The handset may well be the finalized version of the device codenamed Sholes, which is expected to be available for Verizon, making it the first Android phone for that carrier.
