Microsoft already offers a OneNote app for iOS, but it hasn’t released one for Mac up till now. Its not like there is any shortage of note-taking applications on Mac, but the company appears to be bent on competing with rival Evernote. ZDNet’s Mary Jo Foley hears from several sources that Microsoft is preparing to release a full-fledged free OneNote for Mac app “soon.”
