OPPO has announced another 4G LTE-enabled Android 7.1 smartphone ‘A79’ in China. Measuring 7.2mm thick and weighing 140g, this mid-range smartphone sports a 6.0-inch 2160 x 1080 18:9 FHD+ full-screen AMOLED 2.5D curved glass display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, a 2.5GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P23 16nm processor, an 800MHz ARM Mali G71 MP2 GPU, a 4GB RAM and a 64GB of expandable internal storage (up to 256GB).
Featuring dual SIM card slots, the handset packs a 16MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture, a 16MP rear-facing camera with f/1.8 aperture and LED flash, a fingerprint sensor, an FM radio and a built-in 3000mAh battery with VOOC flash charge.
