The $89.95 Defender case offers multiple layers of protection with a high impact polycarbonate shell on the inside and a durable silicone skin on the outside. The case has an integrated fold-out stand and a removable door that allows access to the iPad dock. A snap-on front cover provides exceptional screen protection while the iPad is not in use. When you need to use the device, it snaps securely to the back of the case for hassle-free storage.

The $64.95 Commuter Case is slim and slightly less rugged than the Defender case, while still offering superior protection for your iPad. It has a polycarbonate outer shell and an inner lining of silicone to protect your iPad from drops and scratches. A removable dock door allows you to dock your iPad without having to remove it from the case.

Both cases feature silicone plugs, which help to protect the headphone jack and sync port from moisture and dust while also keeping them accessible. The Defender and Commuter iPad cases are now available for pre-order on the OtterBox Web site, and are expected to ship within seven to ten days.
