At long last, the Pebble watch that the world has been waiting for all this while, has begun to ship. This e-paper watch that will play nice with iOS- and Android-powered devices would soon see the first batch of its production units wrapped around the wrists of those who are interested. The Pebble watch started off as a Kickstarter project, and along the way, amassed a whopping $10 million plus amount in funding from the interested public, now how about that?
Sure, the Pebble watch did miss its previous shipping targets that included September 2012, citing manufacturing issues amidst other “excuses” for the delay, but it is a good thing that the folks behind the Pebble watch decided to use that extra time to throw in even more functionality. Whoever said that good things do not come to those who wait? Are you one of the first few backers of the Pebble watch? If so, you should be able to see it arrive at your doorstep in no time at all.
