Pioneer has added a new portable blu-ray writer to its product page, the BDR-XD05J. Claimed as the world’s lightest portable Blu-ray writer (230g), the BDR-XD05J comes with a clamshell design, a USB 3.0 connection interface and BDXL support, and promises to provide write speeds of up to 6x for BD-R (SL/DL).
