If you’ve never played with Nanoblocks, you really should. These nifty little building blocks are much smaller than LEGO bricks, which means they can be used to make more precise shapes. It’s like the difference between an SD screen and an HD screen, where more pixels = greater detail. Nanoblocks makes all kinds of neat sets, including architecture, animals, airplanes, cars, and more. They even make a Nanoblock skeleton. While I was looking around for some kits to buy, I came across this set, which includes a bunch of Pokémon.
The limited-edition set includes 11 different Pokémon characters, who each look awesome as tiny block-built characters. Among the voxelated menagerie are figures of Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Eevee, Charizard, Venusaur, Blastoise, and more.
Apparently, these sets were released back in 2013 to celebrate the release of Pokémon X and Y, and are very hard to come by these days. But if you’ve got about $269 burning a hole in your pocket, you can grab this complete set from Amazon right now, though if you happen to live in Japan, you can score one for about half that price.
