This is one fine droid guitar. Look at that amazing detailing. This custom built R2 guitar by Doug is simply amazing. Why can’t we buy stuff like this in guitar shops?
This is exactly the droid guitar that you are looking for. The next time those lame dancers start dancing around in Jabba’s palace to that lame music, they should pull this guitar out and get to rocking instead.
The body is custom cut from 2 pieces of poplar wood. Most of the guitar guts were from a used Ibanez he found of Craigslist. Those droid details? They are all hand painted with acrylic paint. Doug, why are you not making custom guitars for a living?
