As Photokina is currently taking place, we guess it’s not surprising that new lenses are being announced and if you’re in the market for a new set of lens for your Sony camera, Sigma has unveiled a trio of A-mount lenses. First up is the 17-70mm f2.8-4 DC OS MACRO, which unlike the name implies, is a general purpose lens. This will be compatible with APS-C sensors and has been given a new design and a more compact build compared to its predecessor released back in 2009. (more…)
