Sony’s latest console is the PlayStation 4. The console has yet to hit every market around the world, but so far it is doing pretty well for itself. Last we heard, the console managed to achieve 5.3 million units sold in a relatively short amount of time.
This was later followed by Sony selling over 300,000 units in Japan during its opening weekend alone, which is why we guess we can’t say we’re too surprised to learn that Sony has since announced that the PS4 has gone on to sell over 6 million units worldwide in four months since the console was launched.
