Tomorrow marks the 164th anniversary of Thomas Edison’s birth. As the inventor famously said shortly before his death, “Genius is one percent inspiration, ninety-nine percent perspiration.” The road to genius, meanwhile, is lined with both successes and failures–and Edison had plenty of both.
