Microsoft has picked up Skype slightly more than two and a half years ago for quite a hefty sum, but it does seem as though they have not been the fastest off the blocks to take over the app. While Skype was integrated into both the Windows and Windows Phone platforms in a relatively speedy manner, the software giant has not been that fast in pushing it out to all Microsoft account options. Again, the all new Skype update for Windows Phone has done away with your previous Skype login. Meaning, you will now be required to have a Microsoft account in order to login.
