Skyrim Will Not Receive Additional DLC As Team Will Be Moving On

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim released on Nov 11, 2011, and since its release, Bethesda has released three additional pieces of downloadable content, and it may look like that will be it for the game’s developer as their latest blog post hints at the end of additional content for the game.

Bethesda’s Skyrim team wrote in a blog post announcing they’ll be moving on to “our next adventure.” In the post, they say they’ve spent the past year and a half working on additional content for Skyrim which include game updates, a Creation Kit, Steam Workshop, Kinect support and, of course, the game’s additional pieces of DLC. “Parts of our team have also been in pre-production on our next major project, and that game is at the point where it requires the studio’s full attention to make it our biggest and best work yet.” (more…)
