Sony has just announced a new remote security service called “my Xperia.” It is basically a tracking service that will help locate and protect Xperia smartphones, should they get lost. Sony is saying that the service is initially launching in beta in the Nordics with the end goal of rolling it out to the rest of the world in the second quarter of this year. my Xperia, however, is not just a tracking application.
