Sony may launch a smartphone lens attachment with the same specs found on its RX100 II camera.

An innovative new lens for your smartphone could soon pop up from the folks at Sony.
Citing “two trusted sources,” blog site SonyAlpha served up a photo and details on the alleged new lens. The lens would come with a built-in sensor, battery, and memory, so it could mount onto a smartphone or be used on its own. It would send photos to your smartphone or tablet through WiFi or NFC where you would preview the live images.
