Sony S Series XQD Memory Cards

Sony hits back with a new line of XQD memory cards, the S Series. Designed specifically for professional digital SLR cameras, this high speed card comes in both 32GB and 64GB sizes, and promises to provide a maximum data transfer rate of 168MB/s. The 32GB and 64GB models will go on sale in Japan from July 11th for 40,000 Yen (about $503) and 60,000 Yen (about $754), respectively. [Sony]
