Sony has showed off a new NFC-enabled Bluetooth speaker to its range, the SRS-X3. Coming in a sleek ‘Definitive Outline’ design, this portable wireless speaker comes with a built-in microphone for hands-free calling, Sony’s ClearAudio+ technology, A2DP/AVRCP/HFP/HSP profiles support, SBC codec support, NFC pairing function, a 3.5mm stereo mini jack and a high-power digital amplifier with maximum power output of 20W (10W+10W), and is compatible with Bluetooth 2.1 enabled devices. Powered by a built-in lithium-ion rechargeable battery (up to 7 hours of battery life), the SRS-X3 will go on sale from June 21st for 14,380 Yen (about $142) in black, white and red color options.
