Remember back in late 2013 where Sony registered a domain for “thelastofusmovie.net”? It led to speculation that Sony might be interested in turning the game into an actual movie, which would not be a bad idea since the game does have a pretty good storyline to begin with.
Well the good news is that if you were really hoping for a The Last Of Us movie, you’d be pleased to learn that a report from Deadline Hollywood has revealed that a movie will indeed be happening. This is thanks to a deal that Sony Picture’s Screen Gems has signed with Naughty Dog which will see Neil Druckmann, the Creative Director for the game, pen the script for the movie as well. (more…)
