It pays to tread on eggshells when it comes to game releases, as you can never quite tell just which particular group you are going to offend should the in-game material of choice happen to be controversial to some. We have learned that South Park’s censored scenes have been removed from disc itself in order to avoid plunging into another potential ‘Hot Coffee‘ situation, which would be a hot potato that is not worth handling. So far, the alleged producer touted that five versions were created for different territories, with the North/South American release being the only version that is “completely uncensored on every platform”.
