Four people were injured Saturday when a flash fire broke out at the State Department in Washington, DC, CNN reports.
The fire began in the ductwork of the State Department’s 8th floor while construction crews were working in the building. Of the four injured, three were taken to Washington Hospital Center, where one person reportedly remains in “life-threatening” condition.
According to NBC Washington, it remains unclear whether any State Department employees were in the building at the time of the fire.
