If you were holding off on pre-ordering a brand new T-Mobile G2, you’ve missed the boat, friend. T-Mobile today announced that it has ended pre-orders on the Google-tastic device, “due to overwhelming demand.”
Of course, pre-orders on the handset were set to end tomorrow anyway, since that’s when the device is actually supposed to go on sale. You’ll still be able to buy the thing through T-Mobile’s site, starting on the 6th, but the carrier isn’t making promises about shipping the thing then.
You can always try walking into your local T-Mobile store, but given the apparent popularity of the G2, a few elbows may have to be thrown.
