For those of you who have a vague recollection of this particular device known as the T-Mobile SpringBoard, here is a little bit of trivia for you. This is the carrier’s version of the original Huawei MediaPad, where it was first released in November last year over at T-Mobile. Upon its debut in the market, we were happily dancing to the tune of Android 3.2 Honeycomb, a tablet-centric version of the Android operating system before Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich became the unifying factor for both tablets and smartphones which run on the Android ecosystem. Well, T-Mobile seemed to hint at a new Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich build that is coming your way later this week – Wednesday, in fact. (more…)
