In this very special episode of The 404 Show, Jeff Bakalar chats with professional funnymen Robert Ben Garant and Thomas Lennon. You may recognize these fine gentlemen from their work on MTV’s “The State,” “Reno 911!,” and other programs. The two have worked together on a number of films and are the writers of the “Night at the Museum” movies. Their latest collaboration is “Hell Baby,” a horror-comedy that tells the ridiculous story of what happens when a couple who’s expecting twins moves into a haunted New Orleans home.
Tom, Ben, and Jeff chat about what it was like working on “Hell Baby,” how Goldeneye 007 for Nintendo 64 almost destroyed “The State,” and some of their favorite “Reno 911!” characters.
Be sure to catch “Hell Baby” on-demand now and in theaters September 6. Also, please check out Ben and Tom’s highly entertaining Reddit AMA.
