OnePlus recently launched their latest flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 7 Pro. One of the highlights of the handset is its 90Hz display, which while might not be as smooth as the Razer Phone’s 120Hz display, is still a step up above most of what the competition is offering in the market today.
To show off how smooth the display is, OnePlus shared a video on its Facebook page (you can check it out below) where it compared the display of the OnePlus 7 Pro to a “regular” smartphone (which presumably has a display with a refresh rate of 60Hz). Now, to the naked eye, you can see that the display is indeed slightly smoother while scrolling compared to a phone with a 60Hz display.
It might not be particularly obvious in day-to-day use, but it’s there. However, when slowed down in slow-mo mode, it becomes more obvious at how the faster refresh rate is considerably less choppy than the display with the 60Hz refresh rate. Is the display with the faster refresh rate a good enough reason for users to hop on board the OnePlus bandwagon?
Scrolling feels so much better in 90 HZ screen by OnePlus 7 Pro.

Perhaps, although we imagine that the phone’s more affordable price tag compared to other smartphones, high-end hardware, and its pretty impressive camera could be good reasons to get the handset as well.
