Who can forget the dashing good looks of Tom Cruise when he appeared in Top Gun? Well, that film still remains pretty popular among the masses until now, so much so that a Twitter account was recently caught tweeting the Top Gun film – frame-by-frame, until the account was suspended because of a complaint from the film studio. The legal eagles over at Paramount Pictures claimed that doing so via Twitter actually breached the copyright of the 1986 movie. Although this particular decision might be legally correct, but does it follow the spirit of the law? Many on social media sites have derided this particular decision as heavy-handed.
