Earlier this month, Apple announced CarPlay which was basically a rebranding of iOS in the Car. Apple also announced several new partners that would be including the CarPlay feature in their vehicle models, and Toyota was one of them.
However according to Apple’s website, Toyota has been listed as being a partner for future models, versus brands like Ferrari, Honda, Hyundai, Mercedes-Benz, and Volvo who are expected to debut vehicles with CarPlay later this year. However thanks to a recent post by Toyota, they might have revealed their CarPlay plans a little earlier than expected. (more…)
