Unitcom is preparing to launch their newest LCD monitor ‘UNI-LCD27/WQHD’ for the Japanese market. Adopting an IPS panel, this new 27-inch LED-backlight monitor provides 2560 x 1440 WQHD resolution, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 350 cd/m2 brightness, 14ms response time and 178/178 degree viewing angles. In addition, it also has two built-in 2W stereo speakers and features DVI, mini D-Sub, HDMI and DisplayPort connectors. The UNI-LCD27/WQHD will start shipping from August 18th for 39,980 Yen (about $510). [Unitcom]
