During the day, you’re supposed to consume 64 ounces of water. Unless you’re really fond of the taste of nothing, or just made a habit of it, a good portion of that number is instead replaced by soda, coffee, or tea. While you may bring your preferred beverage in to work at the optimal temperature, by the time you’re ready to consume it, it’s room temperature.

If you want to keep your can of soda at just the right degree, then you might want the USB Thermoelectric Cooler and Warmer. It will only fit one, standard 12 ounce can, and is capable of keeping a chill at 46 degrees Fahrenheit, or warm things up to 149. This means your beverage will need to be pretty small if it’s not a soda. Sorry 16 and 20 ounce drink lovers, this one isn’t for you.

There is an in-line indicator with a yellow LED to let you know when it’s cool inside, and a red one for when it’s warm. It’s made of plastic and metal, with four feet of cable with which you’ll be able to plug this into your computer via USB. It costs $20, and closes magnetically. While that is a bit pricey for such a menial task, keep in mind that this is a luxury item that is only meant for convenience. This would also be great for keeping meds cool if you need to keep them refrigerated, but don’t want to store them in the kitchen.
