‘Weeds’ Enters Season 8, But Here’s When We All Stopped Watching

Weeds” is entering its eighth and final season on Showtime this week (Season 8 premieres Sunday, July 1 at 10 p.m. ET) and it certainly been a long ride for Nancy Botwin (Mary Louise Parker) and co.

The pot-centric series has grown far past its Agrestic roots, literally and figuratively. “Weeds” has boasted guest stars from Mary-Kate Olsen to Alanis Morissette and covered storylines ranging from cancer to kinky breast-feeding. (Yes, you read right.)

Thanks to some aforementioned turn-offs, HuffPost TV staff Maureen Ryan, Maggie Furlong, Jaimie Etkin, Chris Harnick, Alex Moaba and Leigh Weingus haven’t been tuning in to “Weeds” as of late, although it was once appointment viewing.
