External hard drives are crazy cheap these days, and now they’re getting beautiful, too. WD just introduced a line of limited-edition designs for its 500GB My Passport External.
The drives were designed by students at California State University, Long Beach’s Industrial Design program. Styles include Boom Box, Black Hole, Cityscape, Fuchsia Leaf, and Wave. WD says the patterns are geared at students who want to express their individual style while choosing a reliable, portable place to backup their work.
The limited-edition drives ($119.99 list) come with a two-year warranty. Find them at Best Buy and WD’s online store.
