This just in: engineers have designed a robot that’s capable of adjusting to a broken leg. Using, as they put it, “intelligent trial and error,” they’ve developed a droid that learned how to walk two minutes after losing one of its limbs. For the world of adaptive robotics, this is pretty huge.
