Windoro: Like a Roomba…For Windows…That Climbs Wall

Meet your new friend Windoro. He’s a bit like your old friend Roomba, only he can wash windows and climb walls. Pretty neat, right?

Windoro only exists in a lab in South Korea right now–he was created by that country’s Pohang Institute of Intelligent Robotics. But hey, if Roomba can hit store shelves everywhere, than surely Windoro will see the neon light of Wal-Mart store shelves one day too, right?

As Gizmodo points out, the Windoro in the above video is actually made up of two units connected via neodymium magnets. The magnets work on glass up to 0.98 inches thick.
