Over the past few weeks we have been hearing quite a lot about Windows Phone 8.1. Microsoft is expected to release this major update for its mobile platform in the near future, and several features that this update is going to bring have already been detailed online due to an SDK leak. Initially it was rumored that Windows Phone 8.1 will bring the ability to mirroring the device’s screen but the protocol wasn’t known. It is now believed that Windows Phone 8.1 Miracast support is possible, provided that Microsoft is able to finish it in time.
