There has been a lot of chatter about the upcoming major Windows Phone update, and it is not quite known for sure exactly when the update is going to be released. Earlier this week we picked up on a report claiming that Windows Phone 8.1 core development has been completed, and that only a few minor bugs remain which the secondary team will iron out. According to a new rumor, Windows Phone 8.1 has achieved RTM status, meaning that Microsoft has shipped the firmware to its OEM partners.
