When it comes to smartphone platform market share, iOS and Android are currently dominating. Android has managed to nab first place followed by iOS, with Windows Phone and BlackBerry lagging behind. However this is based on overall market share and obviously there are markets in which one platform does better than the other.
Over in Romania, it seems that Microsoft’s Windows Phone platform is holding its own and has reportedly managed to overtake Apple’s market share in the region. This is based on data collected from GfK and confirmed by Vodafone and Microsoft in the country. (more…)
