New iGoogle Finally Released
We showed you a few months ago how you could get your hands on the new “maximized view” iGoogle layout before it was available to everyone. Well, you knew this day would come… Google has rolled out the revamped homepage to the masses. The new design makes the most of your browser’s window, but only if the gadget designers have taken it into consideration.
Mint Leaves Beta
It’s quite possible that over the last year Mint has been keeping track of where your money goes. Unlike Gmail, however, it has decided to drop the Beta label. Not only that but it also brought some new features to the table.
Better Session Restore in Firefox 3.1
Mozilla is tinkering with a better way to restore a crashed browser session for those of you who have Firefox set to startup with a blank page. In the upcoming release there will be a new feature that will let you choose which tabs you want restored after a crash has occurred.
Automattic Acquires PollDaddy
The same people who make the WordPress blogging software have decided to acquire one of my favorite sites: PollDaddy.com. We’ve been using this site for about a year to help deliver the polls you see in our sidebar and embedded in some posts. They couldn’t make it any easier, and best of all they let you customize the design so that it fits in with your site.
