Sexting may be more popular than anyone ever realized.
According to a new survey by YourTango, 43 percent of respondents admit they’ve sexted a partner and around 33 percent have sent nude pics via their cellphones.

During a House Judiciary hearing on his abortion bill Wednesday, Rep. Trent Franks (R-Ariz.) said that he opposes an exemption for rape victims because “the incidence of rape resulting in pregancy are very low.”
The Arizona Republican’s comments echo those made last year by former Rep. Todd Akin (R-Mo.), who notoriously claimed that women cannot become pregnant from “legitimate rape.”
Like Akin’s, Franks’s claim is not supported by research. Medical experts agree that rape does not lower the incidence of pregnancy, and one study by the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology found that more than 30,000 pregnancies result from rape in the United States each year.

HAVANA — Australian endurance athlete Chloe McCardel jumped feet-first into calm, balmy waters off Cuba on Wednesday and began stroking steadily out to sea in a bid to make a record swim from Havana to Florida without a protective shark cage.
A smiling, upbeat McCardel arrived in the morning at a rocky jetty in Havana’s Hemingway Marina in a pink 1950s Chevy convertible. She carefully adjusted her black swim cap and goggles while her husband applied grease around the edges of her suit to prevent chafing.

Getting back into the dating game can be hard for anyone, but when your life is tabloid fodder and your ex is a Hollywood heavyweight, it can be even tougher.
That’s the case for Denise Richards, who stopped by HuffPost Live on Tuesday and dished on dating post-split. Though the actress admitted that she’s currently single, she said that she would like to get married again in the future — but that she’ll need a certain type of man.
“I have a U-Haul of baggage,” she said. “It is going to take a very strong man to step into my life.”

Nyko PlayPad Pro 2 hands-on

Nyko’s PlayPad Pro controllers make gaming on Android much less painful, as anyone who has attempted to control a high-speed Sonic with a touchscreen can attest. So, how does the company follow up a largely successful peripheral that already performs its appointed tasks with aplomb? By changing very little, it appears. The PlayPad Pro 2 has a slightly sleeker and more aggressive design than its predecessor, but at a glance it may be hard to tell the two apart. The most distintive change is the addition of fins along the sides that should help keep your hands from getting too sweaty during extended button-mashing sessions. The biggest change, though, is to the analog sticks, which Nyko has upgraded with components from Alps that feel just about as good as what you’d find on a first-party controller from one of the big three console makers. Switching between HID, mouse, iCade and app modes is also incredibly easy thanks to the switch underneath.
The rubberized grips and soft-touch coating also ooze style in a way that many mobile gaming controllers can’t even dream of matching. Impressively, the gamepad is quite well balanced, despite being incredibly light. Though we don’t have an official weight, it’s certainly no heavier than the original. Our lone complaint is that the directional pad feels a bit stiff, but there’s always a chance for Nyko to rectify the situation since we were only handling prototype hardware. The PlayPad Pro 2 will be out later this year for $40. Make sure you check out the gallery below and the PR after the break.
