Elecom – Mobile battery for smartphones with plenty of color/design options

‘Supermarket Superstar’ Premiere: Entrepreneurs Compete To Get On Grocery Store Shelves (VIDEO)
Posted in: Today's Chili“Supermarket Superstar” could be described as a strange cross between “Shark Tank” and “Cupcake Wars,” with the lovely Stacy Kiebler around to look pretty. She’s also the host of this show, pitting various entrepreneurs against one another who all want to get their wares into the nation’s grocery stores.
Each week, three culinary entrepreneurs pitch their concepts to a panel of judges who know a thing or two about grocery store success — one of them is Mrs. Fields of Mrs Fields Cookies. They get feedback from the judges, retool their concepts and then present them to a grocery store executive. In this case, it was Tom and he couldn’t have made the stakes sound any higher.
“You say your product’s for kids, but you couldn’t have picked a less popular flavor,” he told one contestant, Melissa. Later, though, he told her, “You clearly have a brand. Please stick with it. I can honestly say that there are millions of kids that are counting on you.”

Like The Longines Symphonette before it, Thingiverse’s army of 3D printing enthusiasts don’t rest, so when MakerBot put them to the task of building a better home for wayward birds, they naturally jumped into action. Not to put too fine a point on it, but while we’re still a ways from indoor plumbing and the like, the American Craftsman Bungalow is surely the sort of thing any upwardly mobile winged friend would want to call home. The first place winner gets (fittingly) an Eggbot, some PLA filament, display space at the MakerBot NY store and the admiration of birds everywhere. And if Hitchcock has taught us anything, it’s that you want those buggers on your side. We got up close and personal with BMW’s i3 electric coupe at the LA Auto Show back in November, and now the auto maker has announced the pricing and showroom dates for its svelte offering. For those in the US, the i3 will be priced at $41,350 USD, not taking into consideration any government incentives that could lower that.
The price doesn’t include the destination and handling fee, which will be $925 USD for buyers in the US. As for the car itself, which you can see in our video below, there’s 170 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque via its hybrid-synchronous electric motor. There’s a 22-kWh lithium ion battery, which allows for between 80 and 100 miles of driving on a charge.
Charging is accomplished either at home or at a Level 2 SAE J1772 charging system. Home charging is done with a charging station that is provided by BMW. The system utilizes an SAE DC Combo-Fast Charger, which will provide a DC fast charging option, reducing the amount of time it takes to get the vehicle charged for a trip. At a fast-charge station, drivers can get to 80-percent in 20 minutes.
Obviously, an all-electric car has the benefit of being environmentally friendly, which is further expanded by the facilities in which the i3 is produced. In both the Moses Lake, Washington and Leipzig, Germany facilities, hydro-electric, solar, and wind are used to produce power at the CFRP production cites.
BMW Sales and Marketing’s Ian Robertson said: “The BMW i3 heralds the dawn of a new era for individual mobility and for the BMW Group. True to a genuine BMW, the BMW i3 has strong emotional appeal, outstanding product substance and a guarantee of sheer driving pleasure. With this leading-edge vehicle and attractive price, we will provide customers with a compelling offer for electromobility.”
The i3 will be shown in London, New York, and Beijing on July 29.

It’s easy to forget plants are "alive" because they hardly move on their own. No more. This timelapse of plants growing and blooming and shooting up and blossoming shows plants move like aliens. Every time you see a new plant, you think it’s a new species from outer space. It’s not until you see the familiar green, that you become calm.
