Back in 2011 there were rumors that BlackBerry was working on a BlackBerry 10 device codenamed “Milan”, and according to the leaked render at that time, it was revealed to be a slider device similar to that of the BlackBerry Torch. Come 2012 word on the street was that the project had since been cancelled due to apparent hardware issues, and in 2013 we have not heard about the device, at least until recently where images released by BerryNationhave revealed a device of a certain Z15, the purported Milan device, although we’re guessing this is more of a concept rather than an actual leak. A little over a week ago, a rumor surfaced which suggested that the upcoming Moto X would see a “late August” release, and according to the sources of Droid-Life, it looks like Motorola and Verizon’s plans have not changed. According to their source, they have essentially “reconfirmed” the fact that the Moto X will be launching on the 23rd of August, at least as far as Verizon’s version of the device is concerned, and with only a day to go before the device is officially announced, we guess we won’t have to wait too long to find out if the launch date is true. Of course there is the possibility that their sources are wrong, as previous rumors in the past have even gone as far as suggesting a 1st of August release. However a recent leaked US Cellular roadmap has revealed a possible 26th August release for the carrier, so having it released on the 23rd for Verizon would not be a stretch of the imagination. Either way be sure to check back with us on the 1st of August for all the Moto X details!

We’ve seen the Oculus Rift virtual reality headset used in a variety of manners, such as for seeing through the eyes of a drone, or the more novel where it is used as added stimulant for an erotic video game. Well now if you’ve always wanted to experience what it’s like to be a paper boy on their route, Toronto company Globacore has decided to make a simple game that combines the Oculus Rift, a Kinect sensor, and a stationary bicycle that resulted in the revisitation of an Atari classic – Paperboy.
Through the use of a widget called Kickr, it will allow the game to track the pedaling speed of the bicycle. The Kinect will detect the paper-throwing motion, and the Oculus Rift will provide the immersive virtual reality experience to make you feel like you’re really riding down the streets and tossing newspapers onto the lawns of homeowners. The end result is a game called PaperDude VR and while it does not have the same level of graphics or complexity in gameplay that you might expect from modern titles, if you’ve ever played Paperboy back in the day, chances are this will bring back some fond memories.

It seems like Sony’s Honami (or Xperia i1) is as badly kept a secret as Motorola’s Moto X because thanks to newly leaked images showing off the back portion of the phone, it seems that it might be confirmed that the phone will indeed sport a 20MP camera in accordance to the rumors.
As you can see in the image above, the back of the phone shows the camera long with “XX.XMP”, and according to the speculation of some, this would indicate that when the phone is released, the “XX.XMP” would be replaced by the “20.XMP” wording. The reason the device is showing “X” now is probably because it is a prototype and is apparently a pretty common practice in the industry.
In any case there is always the possibility that the image above is fake, and that the “XX.XMP” could be for different-sized sensor and not necessarily 20MP (previous rumors suggested anywhere between 16 to 20MP), but with the Sony Xperia i1 expected to debut at IFA 2013 later this year, we won’t have to wait too long for all the official details!

US Senators Urge Trade Representative To Think About Repercussions Of ITC Ban On iPhones And iPads
Posted in: Today's ChiliSamsung and Apple have been at each other’s throats for a long time now, and both sides have won some cases, and lost some, and in Apple’s case, the Cupertino company’s older lineup of products such as the iPhone 4, the iPhone 3GS, and the iPad 2 3G will be facing a ban in the US, ultimately preventing the device from being sold legally. This is due to the findings of the court who came to the conclusion that Apple infringed upon declared standard-essential patents owned by Samsung and is expected to go into effect come 5th of August, but it looks like there are a handful of US senators who believe that the ITC should reconsider this move.
