Congratulations are in order!
James Van Der Beek and his wife, Kimberly, announced that they are expecting their third child. Kimberly shared the exciting news on her blog, saying that “all of the craziness, exhaustion and moodiness aside, James and I are beyond elated and feeling so incredibly blessed.”
The couple have two children, Olivia, 2, and Joshua, 17 months, and are expecting their new baby in winter.

Bernard Gallacher Hospitalized: Former Ryder Cup Captain In ‘Critical’ Condition

No more details about the 64-year-old Scot have been released, but nephew Stephen Gallacher says “I understand that he is critical but stable.”

But the real star of the show was Sandra Bullock. We’re so used to seeing the actress play it safe when it comes to fashion, but this week all of her risks paid off. She made herself the center of attention in a body-conscious neon dress and also wowed in a red gown that did everything to highlight her amazing figure. This leading lady is definitely one to watch out for on future red carpets.

Big Sean Gives Back to Hometown Detroit, Hands Out School Supplies To Students (PHOTOS)
Posted in: Today's ChiliDETROIT — Girls screamed and shouted his name, their foreheads pressed against the glass. Tears streamed down their faces, and some were too overwhelmed to speak. A few teens maneuvered past the rapper’s handlers, wrapped their arms around him and smiled for photos. “You helped me through my breakup!” one told him.
It wasn’t surprising that Kanye West protégé and rising star Big Sean inspired this much excitement in Detroit, his hometown. But the location was a bit out of the ordinary — as he made press rounds for his new album, “Hall of Fame,” he spent a good chunk of Thursday afternoon handing out backpacks to kids in a building normally used as a farmers market.
A couple thousand students crowded Detroit Public Schools’ back-to-school fair in Eastern Market, where they could learn about careers, play educational games, do science experiments and receive supplies. Organized by the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, new MBA students had just three days after arriving for their first semester to plan the event.

Everyone’s favorite Astromech droid, R2-D2, has saved the galaxy a fair number of times, never mind that he is but a hunk of metal bits and pieces with relevant circuitry within without a single midichlorian flowing through its body. Still, it has managed to see the rise and fall of Anakin Skywalker, and managed to survive through the Great Jedi Purge and to see Luke Skywalker redeem his father, Darth Vader, at the end of the day, marking the end of the Emperor’s reign (in the movies at least).
Here we are with the $11.99 LEGO Star Wars R2-D2 Keylight which might not save the galaxy, but what it will do is this – it is capable of sending some light to your handbag, allowing you to search through its contents in a cinema or when you have arrived at home and need to dig for your keys. The light can be posed using R2-D2′s legs and feet, and unfortunately, it is not powered by the Force, but rather, it will run on batteries. The LEGO Star Wars R2-D2 Keylight happens to be an official Star Wars merchandise and will be powered by a couple of CR2025 3V batteries.
